KHPT is proud to be part of the Government of India’s TB Harega, Desh Jeetega campaign, which was launched on September 25, encompassing the flagging-off of a TB prevalence survey, the release of policies, guidelines and modules, as well as a media campaign to create awareness on TB and RNTCP services available to patients. KHPT contributed a set of seven posters on individual and collective responsibility to end TB and five informational posters on the Direct Benefit Transfer payments, which have been designed to provide essential information through engaging and colourful visuals. We also supported the editing and design of a handbook on TB for elected representatives. These were released by Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare; Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State, Health and Family Welfare; Ms. Preeti Sudan, Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, and Dr KS Sachdeva, Deputy Director General, TB, Central TB Division, among other dignitaries.
We at KHPT look forward to supporting every initiative under this campaign that ensures that we win the battle against TB!
