Deputy Director, Programmes
Bharatesh Karunakar Shetty is currently working as Deputy Director for the USAID funded OVC Social Protection Project, which is being implemented in three states i.e. Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. He is heading the project in Maharashtra. He has been working in the development sector for close to two decades and has managed BMGF/USAID urban and rural HIV/ AIDS Prevention, Care and support programs.
His key skills sets include program planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation. He also has teaching experience for MPH students in Manipal University.
He has a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences with specialisation in Public Health. He has co-authored many abstracts, which are published in national and international scientific journals and has presented in several national & international conferences.
