Deputy Director, Research
Rajaram S a Deputy Director at KHPT presently supports the research, monitoring and evaluation activities in the organization. He contributes significantly to the preparation of project proposals, study design and formulation of quality control measures, and identification of process/monitoring indicators. He has experience in managing large-scale surveys like NFHS-2, NFHS-3, DLHS (RCH) and MICS.
He has over 20 years of work experience mainly in monitoring and evaluation of various population and health programmes of national relevance. Prior to KHPT, he has worked in several organisations such as Population Foundation of India, New Delhi, Population Research Centre, Dharwad and UNICEF, New Delhi.
He has published numerous research papers in national and international journals. He has attended 34th summer seminar on “Evaluating the impact of RH Programs” organised by the East West Centre, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA during 28 May- 27 June 2003 through full support from USAID.
He completed his M.Phil and Ph.D in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai.
