
Dr. Sanghamitra Savadatti is the thematic lead for Health for the Urban Vulnerable, an ecosystem vertical at KHPT that aims to bridge global best practices with local innovations, stakeholder engagement, systems strengthening, and citizen ownership to address emerging and evolving health priorities of vulnerable urban populations in India.
She holds an MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a DrPH from the University at Albany (USA). With over 18 years of experience in public health, her expertise spans cross-functional team leadership, strategic program planning and design, operational decision-making, program monitoring, teaching, mentoring, and research.

Chiteisri is a writer and former lawyer with over 15 years of experience in the development sector. She currently serves as a Communications Manager in the Health for the Urban Vulnerable theme at KHPT, after a prior part-time stint in the Knowledge Management division.
From 2016-2020, Chiteisri worked at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) as a Research Associate and then as an Education Manager with the SDG Academy–its flagship education initiative. Other previous roles include sole researcher at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Rule of Law Programme, Asia, in Singapore and as a legal officer to Parayavaran Mitra in Ahmedabad .
Chiteisri holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology, Environment and Development from University College, London (UCL) and an undergraduate degree in Law from ILS Law College, Pune.
In 2011, Chiteisri was chosen as a Young India Fellow, from a pool of ~6000 applicants, for the founding batch of the post-graduate inter-disciplinary year-long fully funded programme in Liberal Arts, Perspective building and Leadership. Outside of work, Chiteisri enjoys all-things art, literature and pursues a fiendish love for travelling.
