Women’s Health

‘Women’s health’ encompasses a broad range of conditions spanning the life-course. Public health interventions, however, predominantly focus on reproductive and maternal health, and child outcomes. KHPT’s Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) addresses this lacuna in women’s health by fostering critical dialogue and action on conditions that affect women of diverse identities – disproportionately or differently, and on women-specific conditions. Leveraging our strong grassroots experience, and collaborations with local and global networks, WHI initiates ecosystem wide changes, to address institutional and social determinants of women’s health affecting women across the life-course.
