On April 2, 2026, KHPT launched the Ambassadors of Change PRABALA program at the Raichur Zilla Panchayat Hall. Mr Eshwar Kumar Kandu, Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Panchayat, inaugurated the program by watering a sapling.

Through the Ambassadors of Change PRABALA initiative, KHPT aims to create meaningful spaces for adolescent girls to participate in local governance systems and influence decisions that affect their lives. The program reflects a strong commitment to supporting young girls and strengthening inclusive governance at the grassroots level.

Several key officials attended the launch, including Mr Naveen Kumar, Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department; Mr Halasiddappa Poojary, Deputy Secretary, Zilla Panchayat; Mr Suresh Babu, District Health and Family Welfare Officer; Mr Sharanabasavaraj, Project Director, Zilla Panchayat; Dr T Roni, Chief Planning Officer; Mr Vijaya Shankar, Chief Accounts Officer; Mr Basavaraj, Executive Officer, Devdurga; Mr Annarao, Executive Officer, Arakere; and Ms Maheshwari, Assistant Director, Devdurga, along with heads of various departments and Panchayat Development Officers across the district.

The event marked an important step in strengthening collaboration between local governance institutions and KHPT to promote leadership and participation among adolescent girls.
