On 4th November, Agnita R N, Nutrition Specialist at KHPT, represented KHPT in a panel discussion on “Scaling Wheat Flour Fortification through Government Programs and Social Safety Net Programs (SSNPs)”, which highlighted state-level experiences in implementing wheat flour fortification.

Agnita emphasized how fortification can improve dietary practices and health outcomes for women and children at the community level. She also spoke about KHPT’s efforts in building scalable public–private models for food fortification and the need for strong governance and data to integrate fortified wheat flour into schemes like PDS and PM POSHAN.
