KHPT’s Adolescent Health Team showcased the Sphoorthi project at the state-level Adolescent Health and Well-being Workshop held in Manipal on May 24–25, 2025.  The workshop was jointly organised by KHPT and by the Department of Social and Health Innovation (DSHI), Prasanna School of Public Healt, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka State Trainers’ Collective and Samuchaya.

During the event, Dr. Satyanarayana Ramanik, Thematic Lead, Adolescent Health, KHPT, shared insights on the evolution of the Sphoorthi project over time and its lasting impact in the post-project phase. Additionally, a panel discussion, moderated by Mr Prakash Marpady, Project Lead, Sphoorthi, Yadgir, featured Mariyamma and Megha, two adolescent girls from Koppal, who spoke extensively about their experiences, highlighting the transformative changes observed at individual, group, and community levels.

The Adolescent Health and Well-being Workshop was designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among organizations dedicated to adolescent development. Around 25 non-profit organizations from 14 districts of Karnataka participated in the workshop.
