The CSR workshop was organised by KHPT with support from USAID and American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) to initiate and accelerate coordinated efforts between CSR and the Govt. bodies for improved planning, resource allocation and implementation support to address the key need areas for OVC like education, life skills, skill development and livelihoods, social protection and nutrition.

Over 45 representatives from CSRs participated and shared their work with orphans and vulnerable children. The Government of Maharashtra welcome the involvement of CSRs to address the unmet needs of children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. CSRs showed keen interest to collaborate and explore possibilities to make the lives of the vulnerable children better within their own scope of work.
