The COVID-19 pandemic has been affecting adolescents directly and indirectly. Beyond getting sick, many adolescents’ social, emotional, and mental well-being has been impacted by the pandemic. In this regard, KHPT has submitted a proposal to Dasra, “Adolescents and the Pandemic”: A proposal to strengthen COVID-19 response system through adolescent champions in rural Karnataka” for:

• Sanitary pad support in the 153 villages through Sphoorthi girls
• Educational support
• Counseling support
• Humanitarian Support
• COVID care-kit
• Addressing child marriage and school dropout
• Community Intervention
