KHPT entered into an MoU with the National, Health Mission, Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Services on September 9 for a collaboration to fight against COVID-19. The MoU covers the provision of COVID Care Kits to patients, telecounselling services through the Sahita Careline and the distribution of ration kits to vulnerable populations. These initiatives will be supported by District Health Officers, Taluka Health Officers and other health officials. Dr Arundhathi Chandrasekhar, IAS, Mission Director, NHM issued a letter to District Health Officers in October to support KHPT’s activities.
